Busi Matukane has a national diploma in paralegal studies and is currently studying for an LLB through UNISA. She has extensive experience in working as a community-based paralegal since 1997. She joined the University of the Witwatersrand’s Forced Migration Studies, where she provided paralegal advice to undocumented and legal migrants in the Limpopo province. She has also worked closely with the Legal Resources Centre on public impact litigation on access to social grants for permanent residents. She joined RADAR in 2006 where she provided paralegal advice on domestic violence and rape.
In February 2008, Busi was promoted to Paralegal Manager for the Johannesburg office.
